I am on a reflective mood :-) so here I go:

" It may be a cliché`. But it is true that Life is a journey. We go through the “stations” of our various phases, meet people build bonds and then move away from them when they disappear from our journey due to various reasons. Often we hold on to the memory.

We begin the journey with specific destinations – goals and ambitions. Like in travel, you have to take the correct route / your sincere efforts to reach your destinations / goals. You can’t take your ticket to Bombay and try to board a train to Madurai or worse, stay put in your place without making any effort to board a train at all!
You will reach no where.

Just as in travel, life may spring surprises on you. If you keep your eyes open, you will experience so much joy and unexpected pleasures enroute – provided you have an optimistic, exploratory, curious and flexible mind and a sense of acceptance. Allow your journey to take detours and rugged paths. Though it sounds like an oxymoron, anticipate the surprises and twists and diversions. Allow the flow and take in all that the journey spreads in front of you.

Always realize that the journey and not the destination that really matters. The real joy in both journey and life lies in the satisfaction and pleasure that come from the process of the journey and not in the arrival at the destination.

Because, human mind is restless. Once you have arrived at a destination, the mind is already tired and wants to move away to another. Maturity lies in understanding this trap.

Arunas,

That is a nice topic that you have explored.

There are primarily two school of thoughts when one is stuck in a water current(some analogy):
i. one has to fight against adversity! aka ethir nichael podu
ii. one has to leave it all to nature and you leave your destiny to the water current!
Now, I guess it is extremely difficult for anyone of us to take choice ii, since human beings are supposed(built in such a way) to live against all adversity....,

But what if we cannot win over adversity: then we surrender to nature(read water current here)!

To put it simply when we are stuck in adversity, we fight when we can, else we surrender and leave everything to nature!

Guess, your analysis is spot on!
